Who are we
El Camino Alta Via delle Grazie nace de una idea de Gabriella Castelli y Giovanni Battista Merelli.
Inspirados por Santiago de Compostela decidieron que también en los alrededores de casa se podía emprender la búsqueda, la búsqueda interior.
Y crearon un recorrido en cuyas etapas hay 18 Santuarios Marianos.
Cada uno con una historia maravillosa y un mensaje espiritual por descubrir.
Alta via Delle Grazie is born out of an idea of Gabriella Castelli and Giovanni Battista Merelli. Inspired by the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage, they believed that also in the vicinity of home one could undertake the “busqueda”, a journey of self-discovery. They created a way, whose stages are punctuated by 18 sanctuaries, each one characterized by a wonderful history and spiritual message to discover.
El proyecto Alta Via delle Grazie, realizado con la generosa colaboración de varios voluntarios, absolutamente libre de cualquier finalidad de lucro, persigue el objetivo de descubrir y valorizar un territorio de Lombardía particularmente rico en múltiples y extraordinarias atracciones, todo ello encerrado en un recorrido circular, que toca la ciudad de Bérgamo, el Valle Seriana y el Alto Sebino con el Lago de Iseo.
Se propone a cualquiera que quiera hacerse "peregrino" en busca de belleza, de una manera sencilla y compartible, para una nueva y gratificante experiencia de vida.
Esperar el primer rayo de sol de la mañana, respirar el aroma del aire limpio, en soledad o en compañía, contarse en libertad al compañero de viaje inesperado, dejarse llevar por el viento, regenerarse en el agua de un torrente, admirar la belleza del arte, desde las simples manufacturas hasta las obras más preciosas, hasta sorprenderse con el calor de una puerta abierta a la acogida, pudiendo finalmente expresar y compartir todos estos sentimientos;
porque las relaciones son el ❤️ del proyecto.
The Alta Via Delle Grazie project was realized with the help of several volunteers and is absolutely free from any profit interests. It aims at discovering and enriching the territory of Lombardy, which is particularly rich of multiple and extraordinary attractions. The way is characterized by a circular shape, which connects the city of Bergamo, Seriana Valley, Alto Sebino and the Iseo Lake.
This journey is proposed to anyone who would like to become a “pilgrim”, seeking beauty in a way that simple and shareable, for a new and gratifying experience of life.
Waiting for the first ray of sunshine in the morning, breathing in the perfume of fresh air, in solitude or company, telling about oneself freely to unexpected travel companions, letting oneself be transported by the wind, regenerate oneself in the water of a mountain stream, admiring the beauty of art, from simple manufacts to precious works, and letting oneself be surprised by the warmth of a door open to welcoming others, finally being able to express and share all these feelings;
because interpersonal relations are at the ❤️ of the project.
Y en todo esto son varios los factores que entran en juego en el descubrimiento de los lugares y sus particularidades: desde el ambiente con sus paisajes multiformes, hasta los lugares de culto, Iglesias y Santuarios, que además del valor religioso muestran el gran patrimonio artístico del territorio y luego aún, pueblos antiguos y artísticos, tradiciones y tipicidades gastronómicas…
Un recorrido que se desarrolla a través de excelencias de todo tipo y que asume la belleza, “la Grazia”, como hilo conductor de toda esta aventura.
There are several factors that come into play in the discovery of these locations and their particularity: from the environment with its multifaceted landscapes, to worship places, Churches and Sanctuaries, that beyond their religious value demonstrate the great artistic wealth of the territory, to ancient mountain villages, traditions and food specialties…It is a trail that winds along excellence of any kind and that employs beauty, “la Grazia” as a guiding thread for adventure.
